Welcome to the new Web home of C-LANCE, the Consortium – Lockheed Martin Advanced Nanotechnology Centers of Excellence.
C-LANCE is run from the office of the Dean of Engineering at Rice University. C-LANCE is designed to take the previous Lockheed Martin/Rice University cooperative, which was called LANCER, and add more research resources – e.g. by bringing additional universities into the group – and more corporations and other entities.
Our objective is to build a collaborative network of researchers, as well as technology leaders and funding sources from industry and government, to achieve pre-competitive technology progress that the member companies can then develop and move into their product road maps.
This site is new as of mid-May 2015 and the main author, John Marsh, will develop it further as he learns the tools.
